dillo 0.8.5 / OpenBSD 3.6 help request

Hi all, I have a report than on a stock OpenBSD 3.6 box, using dillo 0.8.5, the following recipe seems to reliably(*) cause dillo to cease responding. (*) Almost every time. On the few occasions when it survived, clicking one or two more links caused it to fail then. "cease responding" means "click link does not follow link. click bookmark does not generate bookmark page. back button works, but nothing else". http://www.google.co.nz/ Search for fred dagg click each of the first six links in turn, clicking "back" after each one. By the time you get to http://www.wordworx.co.nz/dagg.html dillo has become unresponsive. Nothing obvious logged to suggest what the problem is. On my Linux box, I don't see the problem. I *can* induce similar symptoms by ulimit'ing the number of open files, but doing that gives me an obvious "Too many open files" error. An explicit ulimit on the OBSD box gives me the same obvious errors. Are there any OpenBSD 3.6 users here who can run this recipe and see if the problem is reproducible across more machines? Using Dillo as google search frontend.

Hello. What I want to do is like this. 1. Googling with Dillo. 2. Then, a search result screen comes. 3. When click a result, firefox starts and shows the page. What I want? I want to google with a very fast browser(= dillo), but browse other pages with full browser with plugins(=Firefox). Is this possible? --- Okajima, Jun. Tokyo, Japan.

I would think a trailing slash should indicate that the user knows what he's talking about - don't attempt completions then. Why does it make sense to assume a www. prefix and a .com suffix all the time? Maybe the "completion" (assuming the initial DNS lookup fails) should take the form of a list of all matching TLDs for the supplied partial name - which currently would mean about 200 DNS queries, unless there's some service you can request this from in one shot. (Which would be a neat idea - someone zings you with a partial name and you return a status code 300 with the list of options. I can imagine Google doing something like this and making it commercially feasible.) Inserting a default protocol (http://) when not supplied by the user is always handy though. Hi, One of the most convenient features in Firefox (and that is why I continue using it more than dillo) is that if I type dillo and then Ctrl-Shift-Enter it fills in the www. and .org for me. Same also for .com and .net. How do I change the program in dillo to be able to do it? Is there a simple example which someone could dig up for me? Many thanks and best wishes! Adding this feature is not going to add much bloat to dillo, will it? IMO, it may make it more useful without adding significantly to the binary? I don;t know anything about .js files but while it appears that there is a step there which keeps history if needed, it is not important since that can be gotten rid of? Any help/suggestions? Hi all, I asked last two bug committers of bugs in database (no. 707, 709) about their version of Dillo and they were both used that (http://teki.jpn.ph/pc/software/index-e.shtml) patchset version. So I wrote to DB that this bug is not related to default branch. Is correct to write it to DB or you are going to solve or inverstigate that bugs? First patch removes some unused code relates to cookies. Second one removes commented code in dpi/cookies.c I am sorry, them were my fault.
