I agree entirely, but dillo is fast because it is small. I think javascript will have to be tackled if dillo is meant to have a future. unless more and more people use it, no contributions will come. they will definitely not come if fewer and fewer people use it....disappearing for a year and a half was not a great idea....not to mention that it was at the interface between gtk1 and fltk so no one who wanted to could even contribute....hopefully, the new update will be available soon! trotter --- SZERVÁC Attila <sas(a)321.hu> wrote: > > I can use both Dillo & FF on my 9 years old machine, but Dillo is more > faster than any other graphical browser. I think hv3 (which I did not know about till yesterday) has finally accepted this fact (so they say) and is moving towards incorporating javascript as a priority. Hi there, We've advanced a lot towards a release of Dillo. So expect good news soon! What currently worries us most is the lack of developers. Manpower to help the project. With Sebastian we have little spare time and would appreciate some help. From patches, patch review, bug fixing, web site maintaining, documentation, packaging, etc. -- Cheers Jorge.-
