Just FYI: I'll stop working on table cell alignments (features, of
course, I'll fix bugs, and implement important things I've forgotten).
I've just committed changes which (imperfectly) support ALIGN=CHAR and
the CHAR attribute. CHAROFF (which seems rather exotic to me, and is
anyway not required, as the HTML spec says), is not supported, and I
do not plan to do it.
Someone interested in this should understand the "99% done" in the bug
track as an encouragement to replace my name and fill the remaining1%.
