[Dillo-dev]How does CCC handle the parallelism of IO?

In my opinion, the CCC is a dynamic doubly linked list with function pointers. And all the CCC functions in the chain are called serially. How does CCC handle the parallelism of IO? And Why do you consider it as "pseudo-thread"? I want to dive in it and thanks for reply.

Hi there, After the testing and fixing, finally, the new dillo-0.8.4 was released today (11-01-2005). The official freshmeat announcement will be tomorrow. Hi there, Please send your reports on testing 0.8.4-rc1 ASAP. I wish to release it by Tuesday if possible. Otherwise, it seems I'll have to make a security-fix-release first and then the official 0.8.4. So far rc1 has passed flawlessly the testing process. -- Cheers Jorge.-

I was reading through some of the code and noticed this code segment in a_Http_init() (file: src/IO/http.c, line 82): gchar *env_proxy = getenv("http_proxy"); if (env_proxy && strlen(env_proxy)) HTTP_Proxy = a_Url_new(env_proxy, NULL, 0, 0, 0); if (!HTTP_Proxy && prefs.http_proxy) HTTP_Proxy = a_Url_dup(prefs.http_proxy); It appears to me that this will take first an HTTP proxy from the user's environment. Then, if one is defined in the Dillo preferences, use it to override the one from the environment. I think that the order of the tests should be reversed. The reason is that every *nix program I can think of will place precedence on settings from the environment *over* those in the configuration files. The behavior above would be confusing to an experienced *nix user. -Roberto Sanchez

I just tried to duplicate Bug #340, but I could not. Could anyone else confirm this? I am using today's CVS. If it is no longer reproducible, i.e., Dillo behaves correctly, maybe Jorge can mark the bug as done? -Roberto Sanchez
