Greetings with wishes of health and peace. Attached is a patch for correcting links on about:splash from the old server, dillo.cipsga.org.br , to the new, dillo.auriga.wearlab.de . The patched source is 0.6.6 . The edit is so minor -just URL text- that I'm submitting it without testing, because I've got to work through a long list of errors and warnings when compiling. Baby steps for patch submission?

Greetings with wishes of health and peace. I've been programming for a long time, but have never contributed to a project. My programming has been building mouse driver and graphics acceleration libraries using X86 assembly for DOS programs, serial communications (simple terminal emulator) using Mix PowerC atop DOS, file-manipulation utilities using Sun cc, and Perl/CGI with DBI. I've now made to small edits necessary to correct the links on the about:splash, and need to know the best way to create and submit a patch. I made the edits in a copy of the source for 0.6.6 that I obtained through Debian. Is the best diff to diff -pru <mySrcDir> <origSrcDir>, or just to diff the edited file with the original file? [PATCH] Limit size of Cache

Hello everyone! A long, long time ago I sent in a patch for limiting the size of the Cache in Dillo. I haven't experienced a single crash. So I think it is high time I rediffed my patch for current CVS. First, I have removed the about:cache-clean functionality. I have had private discussions with some users and we've concluded it was not a very good idea. The about:cache functionality is still there, though. I think it's nice. Oh, and I had to "undo" the changes with respect to num_bw and browser_window variables in browser.h and interface.c; they are now global again. This could be easily changed if wanted - just make a helper function in interface.c which returns a copy of browser_window. Jorge, please consider applying this patch. When will dillo enable it's user to copy from the pages it renders ? I read somewhere on the dillo site that this has been fixed, but latest cvs build doesn't seem to be enable me to copy text. -- People tend to make rules for others and exceptions for themselves. Registered Linux user #298569

Web pages - compatibility

Hi, Since I'm not quite sure who is maintainig the web pages I send it here : The Compatibility page should list the BSD's as follows  <LI> NetBSD (in pkgsrc) <li> FreeBSD (in the ports) <li> OpenBSD (in the ports)  I.e. OpenBSD certainly is not restricted to Version 2.9. Also the phrases in the parantheses mean something to BSD users :-) (essentially that dillo is part of the OS in a broader sense). Also, for the handhelds : NetBSD has binaries for the StrongARM and the MIPS based handhelds on their ftp sites. cvs not compiling ?

I'm having trouble compiling from CVS. After I get all the files updated, I do a ./configure, and after that a make.
