Okay so, i've took some time to read your changes and something took my attention : IO/http.c : socket_len = sizeof(struct sockaddr_in6); The fact is that the structure sockaddr_in6 can be really big and cause problems and i'm not sure that the use of sizeof is safe. I think the best way should be to use a define that use sa_len on bsd compliant systems and the SA_LEN() macro on linux. Damien

Bug 433

Hello, I am the submitter of bug #433. I just noticed the comment on the bug for me to write to this mailing list. I am a first time poster :-) The bug I am experiencing causes Dillo-0.7.1.2 to crash everytime I try to use bookmarkd. It also crashes when I try to bookmark a page or manually type dpi:/bm/ to the address line. I am using Debian woody with kernel 2.5.65 (bug noticed while running 2.5.63). The bug also appears when I boot into kernel 2.2.22. IMO, it's not a compatibility issue there. I have 128MB RAM, 30 Gig fujitsu HD, Cyrix-III, 700MHz cpu, Asus P7V mobo. Ummmm, I dunno what other info you fellas might need on this. Lemmie know. Thanks, -- Gregg

Valgrind

Hi there! Sometime ago someone suggested using "Valgrind" to test our memory management. After reading its docs, it looks quite worth a try! As using Valgrind to test dillo is akin to using efence (mostly userland), I thought it may be very well done while I keep working on dillo internals. Is anyone interested? I just wondered if there was a method to force dillo to treat a file given on the command line as HTML. I'd like to use dillo to view html attachments from my mail program, but since the temporary file doesn't have .htm[l] as an extension (actually, it is extension free) so dillo just displays the html instead of interpreting it. I don't mind working on a patch if this capability doesn't already exist, but before embarking down that path I thought I'd check with the experts as I didn't see a reference to this "problem". [PATCH] Some patches for configure.in

Hello everybody, Here are 2 small patches for Dillo: - The first one add necessary stuff to do cross-compilation easy. - The other one just modify the detection for glib/gtk, because the way it is currently done pollutes the CFLAGS variable: When you have gtk/glib missing, libjpeg is not detected. Note: I am the one who ported Dillo to Atari MiNT m68k platform. But it does not work correctly. But I need some tiny features: * new window (Ctrl-N) should set the focus to the location bar * new window (middle button of mouse on a link) should be lowered by the window manager. Hi there, I just commited a patch for BUG#434. It modifies dillo and the bookmarks server, so you must: 1.- kill the running bookmarks server. 2.- install the new one. 3.- install the new dillo 3.- Enjoy and test! Cheers Jorge.-

Hi I love dillo much and I missed a feature which is very nice if you have more Browserwindows: All new browsers like Mozilla/Konquerer/Pheonix have the feature Tabbed-Browsing, would be nice if dillo have this, too. Jens

Segfault using text selection?

Hi, I have experienced several segfaults with dillo using the new text selection feature. I include two instances from gdb below. This happens when I select text while some page is loading (typically when I get impatient while dl'ing a site). I hope this is informative enough. Let me know if I can test it more. Hard to reproduce, though. Here's how to reproduce it: Load the attached page from the location box, then focus the viewport by clicking past the end of the page.
