Having successfully compiled 0.7.0, 0.7.1 & 0.7.12, I am unable to compile 0.7.2. I get the following errors which mean very little to me. cache control patch (fixes bug #161)

Patch is against current CVS: http://www.zone.ee/myzz/dillo/dillo-cache-control.diff Makes dillo to not cache by default 302, 303, 307 redirections and recognize expires and cache-control headers (according to rfc 2616). It also allows configuring minimal expire time (for text and images) and do not reload images which are on different domain than the page which embeds them (attempt to fight against banners that tell they shouldn't be cached).

odd problem

I like Dillo, but have one persistant problem with it. I can't read Dilbert until I've read the New York Times. For some reason the Dilbert site will never show any of the images but it does show background, text, etc. If I cruise down my mail further to the NYT email and read it (which always shows all the images) then I can go back to Dilbert and then everything shows up. succesfull dillo 0.7.2 compilation

Hi, just reporting an almost succesfull dillo 0.72 compilation (is a linux from scratch machine, so evrthing is up to date). A minor detail i used ./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc and the make install part created an /etc/bin with dillo and the bm plugin inside it. that's no problem anyway. Guys and Gals, I posted a note here about beyond linux from scratch (blfs) a few minutes ago, then re-read the digest. Seems some of you might need to know how to compile libpng from sources - and where to get 'em. I recommend the blfs book for common sense instructions on this and other source builds. http://beyond.linuxfronscratch.org Although designed for the 'Linux From Scratch' (lfs) pseudo-distribution (it's a book on how to build a leading-edge linux using sources alone), the instructions work for many other distros too. Just don't ask 'how to's' on their lists unless using lfs! :-) I want to add my thanks to El Cid, too. Let's have Moor! :-))) -- Cheers, Richard
