Why have aclocal.m4 and autom4te.cache been added to CVS? These are generated by the build so version controlling them only adds noise. Or am I missing something? Jeremy Henty

Altavista search does not work

Doing web searches using www.altavista.com does not work. It is as if the search terms are not submitted. The following HTML errors are detected: HTML warning: line 2, the required DOCTYPE declaration is missing (or invalid) HTML warning: line 68, - forcing close of open tag: <form> HTML warning: line 68, FORM lacks a Submit button HTML warning: line 94, unexpected closing tag: </form>. -- expected </table> Searching for "Images", "MP3/Audio", or "Video" instead of "Web" or "News" works well. Is this a problem with altavista rather than with dillo? I am using the latest dillo from cvs and fltk-2.0.r6305. Christopher

dillo-2.0 rc1 is in CVS

Hi there, CVS has rc1! Was moved into dillorc/dillo/2.0. A simple workaround patch for sylpheed was committed. Please get it from: http://www.dillo.org/test/dillo-2.0rc1.tar.bz2 and give it a compilation, installation and some testing. If it's OK, maybe Sunday is a good day for release. BTW, I notice that ctrl-Q and alt-Q, listed in the menu, don't do anything.

panel_size=tiny have no menu

hi i use dillo with panel_size=tiny and now with the tabs, i wanted to close some of then... but as there is no close button nor tab menu, i was searching for the shortcut for close tabs... i search the mailling list and it points to the menu entry and the ctr+Q, and at least the last one works fine. what i found is that if i setup panel_size=tiny, i have no menu, in dillo1 there was a F next to the bookmark Not that the File menu is very important, but here is the bug report :) Thanks higuita -- Naturally the common people don't want war... but after all it is the leaders of a country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. If you try setting font_factor to 2, you will see that check/radio buttons are partly overwritten by their accompanying text. I hope there's a clever way to avoid the getFont() that I use in the patch.

If I start dillo and open <TABLE width=2600> <TR><TD>text </TABLE> I can press right arrow, but then when I press left arrow, they stop working and I see the bottom half of "Label" written over the top of the back and forward buttons, suggesting that tabs may be involved somehow.
