Hi there! We're trying to fix our configure.in with Andreas. The latest CVS commit has a boat load of minor changes that require testing. Please refer to the subject line for BUG# numbers. I'm not sure of what to do here :(. For now I added Patrice's patch that simply adds: sysconf_DATA = dillorc in Makefile.am, and it works! The problem is we don't know what directory it gets in. :-) Currently if it is /usr/local/etc/ or /etc, it works, but if someone chooses /opt/weird/etc, it won't be found. I removed the /usr/local stuff: -CPPFLAGS="$CPPFLAGS -I/usr/local/include" -LDFLAGS="$LDFLAGS -L/usr/local/lib" IMHO, it shouldn't be there, as the system SHOULD be configured in a way that programs are able to find system resources. Error DNS can't solve (null)

Moin, I'm running dillo 0.7.0 under FreeBSD and can browse my internal site without problems. If I try to use dillo with my squid proxy to access externel sites I get the error message above. Remote control reloading

Hi, dillo is really a neat, compact and precise instrument. I don't want to see it being clobbered in any way. I have one request for bloat though. What about implementing some signals dillo would react on. I.e. SIGHUP to make dillo reload the page. (I'd like to use dillo to render the output of some shells scripts interactivly. These scripts are derived from cgi-bins.) Perhaps you wouldn't consider this bloat at all. cu. : Christian

Anti-aliasing

If you remember somebody made a patch to enable anti-aliasing, but it was for Dillo 0.6.6 or something. I updated it to work with current CVS, it's attached (few lines). There are just a couple of remarks: 1. You have to do the final step of the compilation manually to link to the correct libraries because I don't know how to add them to the auto-tools stuff. (-lXft -lXrender -lfontconfig if I remember correctly.) 2. It seems to me that italic and bold fonts aren't rendered correctly (they are rendered as normal) but I don't know if it's just due to how I configured stuff in my box. Please tell me if it works for you. IMHO, after 2 is fixed (if it's broken at all) this should go into CVS, because it's a major benefit to have anti-aliased fonts. Well, IMHO, as I said.

I think "location bar" is a more idiomatic term for it than "url-box". The exclamation point is also extraneous. The feature of the clear_url_button itself is awesome! Patch for commands.c and menu.c to enable menus

Hello, I've re-enabled the disabled menus and implemented the callback for the Help -> Dillo Manual menu item. I have also slightly tweaked the default keybindings to be more standardized. commands.c: Documentation for functions. Implemented a_Commands_manual_callback(). menu.c: Enabled Bookmarks and Help menus. Changed default keybindings to be more standard. prefs.h: Defined constant used by menu.c. META refresh

I would like to get dillo to respond to META-refresh without stopping with a warning message. Is there a simple way that I can do that? I have looked around at the code and can make a few changes and recompile, but as yet I am not proficient enough to know what to change and where.

How do I compile the dillo cvs? I've run aclocal, autoconf, (automake fails though). I then run ./configure, which fails configure: error: can not find install-sh or install.sh in . ./.. ./../.. Thanks

Can I do this with dillo?

Hi there, I've a project in hands where we'll do some sort of kiosk's with linux for some users. We'll use Linux (cost savings) and we need a _FAST_ browser. I've seen dillo working and I think its HTML rendering capabilities are OK for my needs my I need to print some "basic" stuff (like small lists and stuff). Can I do such a thing with dillo?
