In support of Software Freedom Day, I can burn & mail any of the 100% free
distros at [1] and send them to local teams (as opposed to promoting Software
Freedom Day with a GNU+Linux distro like Ubuntu that doesn't respect freedom.)
I am located in the United States, so that's easiest for me, but I'm not
necessarily opposed to mailing to other counties.
I'm paying for this out of my own pocket so please consider your requests &
quantities carefully, as the cost of CDs & shipping can become quite high
(i.e., if you can download & burn the .iso yourself please do so.)

Hi,
what is your take on the distribution of Java from Orcale on Windows? Is
it possible to burn CDs, copy the official release and redistribute it?
Or: Can anybody recommend another Windows Java version which works allright?
We have read many statements of Oracle and as far as we understand it it
looks like they do not want and redistribution.
Like http://www.java.com/en/download/license.jsp
Any comments that help welcome,

Hi
Hoping someone can assist with this. I've tried three times to register
a new team at http://cgi.softwarefreedomday.org/register.html but get
the following message:
=========
We've encountered a problem while trying to send email. Please use the
back button on your browser to return to the registration page and try
again. The error was:
Connection error from localhost on port 25 (421 Too many concurrent SMTP connections; please try again later.)

Hi all,
I like to point you to a new section I have begun about Movies:
http://wiki.softwarefreedomday.org/Resources#Movies
I know some, but not all. And I like to invite you all to add what you
know.
I find Movies a great thing for events like SFD to give people some
other view. Also its often cheap and efficient to get good input. Its
not talks and its not pure software. I also like the open source films,
who are built with open source tools or which source files can also be
used. People can see what is possible.
regards,
Thilo
