We had small program two years ago in Iran. But we were the only one who did it. At least there was no post on social media about any group having any program on that day. We need a better way of communication. It is hard for me to track topics on mailing list.

I noticed that when I click on the city of Belem, Brazil, when hovering the mouse cursor over "ParaLivre", which is the name of the team that is organizing the SFD, it is pointing to the team's link at https://wiki.softwarefreedomday.org/2021/Brazil/Belem/ParaLivre Ideally, the address would be directed to the link to the city of Belem on the Wiki at https://wiki.softwarefreedomday.org/2021/Brazil/Belem/ -- José Roberto da Costa Ferreira contato at paralivre dot org

I posted about Software Freedom Day 2021 in the Linked in Software Freedom Day group. Not much traffic there. No new posts since my post about SFD last year. At least there's a current post if anyone does happen to look there. I also posted about it in a new CSTA forum. I mentioned it last year to some CSTA groups and some of the computer science teachers involved seemed interested. I'll try to post in some of the other online groups I have access to as we get closer to the event. Sincerely, Laura

I think that's a great way to go. Better to do something than nothing at all. Had to move the date last year. Still had a nice, enjoyable event online even if it was small. Also found out last year that it's very important to indicate what time zone you're in. People tend to assume you're in the same time zone as them which may not be true if an event is virtual. I think I tried %20 and didn't even think to try a space in the URL because when I program I don't use spaces in that way. I would have gotten rid of the Delray Beach page with the space in it, but wasn't sure how to delete a wiki page. Going to just use the "Delray" page instead. If you can let me know a way to delete the first city page or if you can delete it, that would be great. I think the map is okay. I just started with Delray instead of Delray Beach and went on from there. Thanks.

Dear all, We just enabled English and French (had to do 70 pngs...). We'll do the language we speak and for existing ones, it's only 3 images to redo. Those languages are: - Portuguese-Brasil - Portuguese-Portugal - Spanish - Catalan - Serbian Cyrillic - Serbian Latin - Estonian - Arabic - Greek Then some languages have been done but not up to 83 days before SFD. Those are: - German - Ukrainian - Russian - Persian And then.. the others need to be done from scratch if needed. Thank you for your help in the matter. Fred
