SFD "Registration is On" Campaign - We need your help

Dear everybody, We prepared 200 packs of goodies and we have around 140 teams registered so far. That means we still have five days to get 60 teams! In order to do that we need your help to run a "SFD registration is on" campaign! Would everyone try to find the contacts of all the local communities in your country and inform them about the SFD registration and ask them to organize and register a SFD event? Let's keep track of the local communities list here: http://wiki.softwarefreedomday.org/MarketingCommittee/CommunityList so we can reuse it for the coming years. If you cannot edit the wiki page, please send me an email separately to tell me your wiki login name, I can add you in the MarketingGroup or feel free to send me the list so I can add it for you. I drafted an email to send to local communities, please feel free to modify, localize and send to your local communities. Blogging and microblogging would be great too. I had already contacted 100+ local communities so far and contacting more, will update on the wiki list as next step. With everybody's help, we can definitely bring SFD to more places, so let's do it! Hi! A question about the SFD event date.....

Hi all fellow SFDers A Quick Question... Is the date 17th September compulsory for hosting a SFD event? can we host SFD 2 or 3 days before? I ask this because we may have our unit tests in our university starting from 16th September lasting till 20th September... so it will be great if we could host the event on 13th September, 2011 since otherwise on 17th many students in my college as well as the organizing team members will be busy with tests... I still see many website articles in english, maybe it would be a good idea to start localization on them.
