Hello, I joined the mailing list to know that our group has put together a Free Culture Sampler disc of CC-licensed audio. We are burning these tracks to CDs and distributing them at our event. It consists of a selection of curated music tracks, and some sample podcasts. Windows Free Software DVD

One of our team members (Charles McColm) put together a Windows Free Software disc. This includes the Free Culture Disc I posted earlier. The disc has some limitations. It is English-only and may be limited to 32 bit software. But you can use the framework and modify it to your needs. To download it, go to https://archive.org/details/SFDWINSOFT2014 and click on "All Files: HTTPS" (or start up a torrent if you would like). I do not know whether there is another Windows disc of current software for SFD this year. If not then please feel free to use ours. - Paul

Hi everyone, This last weekend I overheard on the radio there was an event in France (country-wide) where several "hacker" events took place (journalist words, not mine). I remember over hearing there were several movie screening on the subject of privacy and IT security. Would anyone here know which films screened over the weekend in France in this context? I don't have any other details, I thought I'd ask here on the off chance someone would have been there. If you have any suggestions of movies in that subject I'd like to hear them. Help from DFF for SFD

We are organizing SFD for the first time in our college. Its sad that there are no goodies this time given to SFD participants this year. I was wondering if any help can be provided to SFD participants this year like funds which we can then use to order goodies on our own. Goodies were good way to make the event more attractive for newcomers and we wish if there had been some goodies this year too. Overwriting attachment files on the Wiki

Hi. I've been trying to add an interactive Gmap in HTML code on the Mexico G3ekarmy team wiki page, but the wiki doesn´t show the map and erases the code :( how can I add html elements on the wiki page? Or this is not allowed? Regards
