Hello SFD'ers, Apologies for the delay since the last communication from SFD Central - unfortunately good weather during the summer (for us up in the northern hemisphere) has got in the way of getting things done. Our major news is that we have recently sent emails to all team leaders who managed to register before the team supplies shipping deadline, informing them what they'll be getting in their team supply packs. If you have received such an email (check your spam folder just in case!), that means that you should start receiving schwag any day now. If you have not received such an email, it is probably because you registered after the shipping deadline (and therefore we didn't ask for your postal address, so we have no idea where you live and can't send you anything anyway). T-shirt .jpeg's in official artwork when ?

Hi all, I went to the artwork page to get a sense of the T-shirts being supplied and saw its a blank page http://softwarefreedomday.org/Artwork/2009/#head-6bd774028f2a88f7212797bb2a… Then went to the online store to check out the T-shirts http://sfd.openfreeway.org/product_info.php?cPath=5&products_id=17 and even here the T-shirts have a very small resolution. Can we have a good resolution on the T-shirts and the design ? Hi, just want to let you know if anybody has a problem with the wiki you can contact me (as wiki admin) directly via mail or Jabber (tpfennig AT gmail com (!not for mail) or add a note with links on http://softwarefreedomday.org/ThiloPfennig) . We stick to the older version of MoinMoin until the SFD is over and people have typed in their reports, because we don't want to switch markup in the middle of the road. So that means the old moin still has some problems you might run into. interactive map registration

Hello, I have a problem with interactive map registration. When I try to to register our team (http://softwarefreedomday.org/teams/europe/russia/saratov) I get a message that it already registered. But our team is not introduced at interactive map.What do I wrong? -- Sin (Sinelnikov Evgeny)

To Whom It May Concern: I am writing to you as since last year I've had an email address change and can't remember my password that I used to Login to the SDF Wiki, so it will be pointless using my old email address, as it has long since been closed by my former ISP. I am happy to provide you with the rest of the details that I used last year, which I outlined below: Name - Grant Petch Team Name - Southern Fleurieu (Victor Harbor, South Australia) SFD Webpage - http://softwarefreedomday.org/teams/oceania/au/SouthernFleurieu Hopefully this information will be of use to you, as I'm currently in the process of trying to reregister our team for this year's SFD, and have had problems with this process, as the system is saying that I can't create a user that already exists! I am NOT willing to use another Name, Team Name, etc.. I am wanting to use the details that I already have, as I'm running down on time. Can someone please help me to sort this mess out so that I can get my team registered for this years SFD event as soon as practiceable, as I am needing to make some changes to the page, as our event will be held in a different town, but still within the Southern Fleurieu region. Dear ALL, Our team here in Zambia specifically Copperbelt region have arranged various activities to be held during the SFD. The following are the activities: 1. We shall have an interview with our local Broadcasting to sensitize people about SFD and FLOSS 2. Working in collaboration with CAMARA - Zambia an NGO that distributes computers which are installed with Open office products (LINUX) Edubuntu, UBUNTU to schools. We are going to have a demo on how to install software and how to use software e.g. Openoffice products. 3. We are going to involve students to showcase some of the programs they have made using Scratch (Animation). 4. Distribute software to the local people, schools, companies, institutions. With the above simple program layout i think we are going to make this day a success. By the way, we would like to find out when the material (Software, T-shirts) are arriving. We are just remaining with few weeks or a month to go before the SFD. We have over 250 SFD teams!

Hello SFD'ers, We've passed the 250 registered teams mark, and we're rapidly closing in on our shipping deadlines to get supplies to teams. I hope your preparations for SFD are going well! This email is to let you know that, although we will definitely be shipping supplies to all teams that have registered before now, any teams that register from now on will receive supplies only if we have availability. Naturally we will be trying to ship materials to as many teams as we can, so there may still be time. Note that we will send out emails to all team leaders who have registered, letting them know when shipments have been sent and whether or not they'll be receiving anything. Hi all, There was an e-mail on 6th of July telling about shipment of the goodies but nothing after that. Does anybody know when the shipments are going to be scheduled ?
