I very much would like to have the OpenOffice.org listed as supporters. Here is a badge to the current measures of your other sponsors from your site. http://alexandro.biz/OOoES_0.png http://alexandro.biz/OOoES_0.svg -- Alexandro Colorado OpenOffice.org Español http://es.openoffice.org

Date of SFD 2011?
by C David Rigby Sept. 12, 2010

Sept. 12, 2010

Hello All, Perhaps this is too soon to ask, but we here in Singapore were a bit tardy in our planning. The result is that we were unable to reserve the National Library Building's larger, well-appointed (and most importantly) air-conditioned presentation rooms. So, can we predict accurately the date of SFD 2011? If so, I hope to reserve the rooms on Monday, 20 Sept 2010! Regards David Rigby SFDS 2010 site admin http://softwarefreedomday.sg

a. How would you explain things to the head of our Reference Department at Cambridge Public Library?... The head of our Reference Department, an advocate of microsoft products, argues againt free software routinely! http://www.cambridgepubliclibrary.org/reference/ref2.html b. Are there any free software resources easy to grasp with no more than a glance?... as opposed to all the stuff one who's uninitiated must be motivated and take time to study.

A-ha, I've got it, it's all about reading the link from the screen of a bigger machine. Nice idea! What sites should we try to post those on? […] -- FSF associate member #7257
