Software Freedom Day CTF!

We are excited to announce the first-ever Software Freedom Day Capture the Flag (CTF) Contest on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM CST. This contest is being held in cooperation with the Ubuntu Illinois LoCo team <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/IllinoisTeam> and the LibrePlanet Illinois Team <https://libreplanet.org/wiki/Group:LibrePlanet_Illinois> as part of their local celebration at the Peoria-Area Amateur Radio Club's Midwest Superfest <https://www.w9uvi.org/midwest-superfest/>. It's hard to believe, but we're two weeks away from Software Freedom Day 2024. Find events in your local area at the Digital Freedoms web site: https://digitalfreedoms.org/en/sfd/events?view=map If there are no events in your area this year, you can celebrate virtually. Share lists of your favorite Free and Open Source software online or here on this list with other Free Software enthusiasts. Share links to some of your favorite FLOSS related videos, tutorials or web sites. If you code, write a program in honor of Software Freedom Day and share your code using a FLOSS license in honor of the occasion. Write an article or do something creative to share on Software Freedom Day. Plus, there's always next year. It's never too early or too late to start organizing an event.

Thanks to an anonymous sponsor, we were able to print a small batch of stickers... the first 25 teams that registered were offered a small batch. The stickers went on the mail about 12 hours ago... Do you also want to hand out stickers? Do you want more stickers? Do you want them bigger or smaller? Do you want localized stickers? Easy!
