I am sure much more people will pay attention to the call, if it comes from the official SFD account. Issue with Confirmation

I had registered my team PULUG for SFD 2014 with wiki link http://wiki.softwarefreedomday.org/2014/India/Chandigarh/PULUG But i didnt recieve any confirmation mail....but after 2days i saw that mail in my spam box, and when i tried confirming...it threw me an error..... " The registration file you are trying to access doesn't exist. This could be happening because you already activated your registration (most likely) or because the URL you are accessing is invalid. " But on my event map it PULUG is visible but in wrong city. What should i do now? Regards Mohit Goyal

Although it seemed attendance was a bit lower this year (too many other events in KW happening at the same time!), I thought our Software Freedom Day celebration went quite well. There were a lot of volunteers on hand: for set up, to provide directions and support to visitors, help the speakers keep on time, and clean up afterwards. Not to mention those who created, folded and distributed flyers and posters in the weeks leading up to SFD! Many thanx to everyone! We had an ambitious program this year - four simultaneous streams: Presentations, workshops, a Film Festival and an Installfest. Naturally, this made it impossible for one person to do everything. "Software Freedom Day - 2014" Bangladesh

Here goes the post event updates of our event no.1 of this year :D ==== In here in Dhaka, Bangladesh on Saturday, 20 September 2014, 16:00 on the venue Daffodil International University, Dhanmondi, Dhaka-1205 we started our event on 11:00AM. FOSS Bangladesh Information and Research Secretary Sagir Hussain Khan starts off with the presentation on "Software Freedom Day and the causes we support and joined in with the Global Community". On the other sessions by FOSS Bangladesh Volunteers were -- "Software and Cyber Freedom" presented by T I M Shafiqul Amin, "Free Software - learn the ways of earning" presented by Sharif Ahmmed Mollick, "Software Freedom Activism and Linux Boostup" presented by Habibur Rahman Shadhin. FOSS Bangladesh General Secretary Shazedur Rahim Joardar RING presented the key session on "Open knowledge, Software Freedom, user rights and its necessity". Among the others Faculty members from the Software Engineering Department of the Daffodil International University Mr. Khaled Sohel, Mr. Koushik Sarkar, Mr. Mohammad Manjurul Islam Khan, Mrs. Shikha Anirban and Ms. Tasnuba Jasmin was present and participated in the event. From 14:00 to 16:00 there were GNU/Linux installation and support service free of cost and free for all by FOSS Bangladesh Volunteer Shafiqur Rahman Pallab, Redwan Hasan, Saiful Alam, Mahazurul Karim Maha and the other Volunteers. Hi everyone, we're wondering in g3ekarmy how was your sfd's going? So we're wondering what's with competition? In past years, we have to upload the pics on a gallery on the wiki, i wonder if we are going to do this for 2014, and what is going on the organization, photo, logo competitions as well.
