Want to register a local event for Document Freedom Day 2025?
Here are some tips:
If you don't already have an account on the digitalfreedoms.org site
(not the same as the SFD site), register here:
https://digitalfreedoms.org/log-in?view=registration
Once registered and logged in, look at the Document Freedom Day menu
near the top left of this page: https://digitalfreedoms.org/
The menu appears when you mouse over the first instance of the words
Document Freedom Day. If you're holding your event at a new location,
be sure to use the Add Location option. Click on Add Event in the
menu to add the information to let people know about your event.
More details on registering are available here:

If you have any questions, feel free to ask on this list.
I'll be posting more about Document Freedom Day in the weeks counting down
to the event. Hope you'll participate this year.
Hope you had a great holiday season. Now that it's 2025, we're counting
down to our next event, Document Freedom Day, on March 26th. To spark some
interest for Document Freedom Day, I would like to put together some
articles and posts about various topics related to the Free interchange of
documents and other media formats. Please share your thoughts. What
topics of interest regarding Free formats or Free content would you like to
see discussed?
On a related note, Public Domain Day was January 1st. archive.org is
having a free virtual event to celebrate:

It's vital to have Free methods of sharing documents and media, but it
helps to have entertaining Free content as well.
Thank you.
