To be clear, the suggestion is that the CD we send doesn't contain any software: it will likely contain only music and video footage. Thanks everybody for your suggestions - keep them coming. It is very helpful for us to get an idea of what teams are looking for from us. Robert. Any SFD enthusiasts in Buenos Aires?

I'm going to be in Buenos Aires this weekend and was wondering if I could persuade any local software freedom supporters on this list to let me buy them a drink. As a board member of Software Freedom International I'm involved with the behind-the-scenes organisation for SFD, which means I can tell you all you ever wanted to know about where we get our T-shirts and what our plans for the future are, and how SFD all got started. I can also take your feedback to our board meetings. If you're in or near Buenos Aires on Saturday, feel free to respond either to directly to me or via this mailing list. hello and t-shirt cost

All, I just signed up for this list today since no messages have come out of the sfd-announce since I joined it about a month ago. My group's site is http://www.softwarefreedomday.org/teams/northamerica/ChapelHill. We are looking to purchase about $100 of the t-shirts if the price is right. I know the page says the shirts are being worked on, but do we have an estimated cost? This group is a new group begun this spring, so this obviously our first SFD. None of us had actually even heard of SFD until May 8th! We hope we can get similar events started at other local universities (Duke and NC State) as well as some other places we have ties (NCSSM and Gardner-Webb University). Pleading and grovelling

Hi, When registering my team I foolishly declined to request any Ubuntu Feisty CDs as I had already ordered sufficient for SFD from Canonical. Of course my special request for a bulk quantity was declined by Canonical, and now I'm left with fewer CDs than I would expect to distribute in an average month, never mind SFD. I know it's dangerously late, but does anybody know at whose feet I should prostrate myself to get an emergency stock?
