Hello all, The new release 0.121 of the Culmus fonts is available for download from the site of the project <http://culmus.sourceforge.net>. This release features the fully reworked Frank Ruehl family, which now supports diacritics (just nine years after the initial release) and kerning. Please note that this release obsoletes "Frank Ruehl OT" font, which had been available since 2005 at the Developers' area. Horev CLM - a new fancy font in Culmus project

Hello, I’m glad to announce the new font “Horev CLM”. The font comes in Extra Bold Condensed weight, and It joins the fancy fonts section which now contains 12 fonts of different shapes. The font is available at the Culmus site (Fancy fonts section<http://culmus.sourceforge.net/?page=fancy>) in both Type 1 and OTF formats; the latter can also be used in Windows. Please note that in Windows the font is listed under its Hebrew name as "חורב", and can be found at the very bottom of the list of fonts. I would be glad to hear your wishes and comments. Dorian CLM renewed, italic added

Hello all, Recently I renewed the "Dorian CLM" font family, whose first release dates back to 2003. The renewed family has two cuts: Book and Italic. The glyph coverage was significantly expanded, and I also added a complete diacritics support. This release includes the font family Keter YG by Yoram Gnat, which supports diacritics and cantillation marks. List of changes: 1. Keter YG - complete family with cantillation marks support. Hello all, The 0.110 release is available now. It includes 4 new True Type fonts: 1. Hadasim CLM - complete family with diacritics supported. Inspired by Henri Friedlander's Hadassah font. 2. Simple CLM - complete sans-serif family with diacritics supported. 3. Stam Ashkenaz CLM and Stam Sefarad CLM - each in single weight, modeled after the respective Torah scroll writing traditions. New font "Shmuel CLM"

Hi All, A new font, "Shmuel CLM" joins the Fancy font family which now contains 11 fonts of different shapes. I designed the font in memory of Shmuel Katz (August 18, 1926 - March 26, 2010), the Israeli artist, ilustrator and cartoonist. The font is inspired by the letter forms of his hand drawn "Passover Hagadah" for the Kibutzim. "Shmuel CLM" is available on the fancy fonts page of Culmus project both as fontforge SFD source file and as truetype file. It fully supports Hebrew niqud (vowel marks, shin dots, dagesh, rafe and meteg) positioning. Cantillation marks (Teamim) were made transparent, thus text including them should still be displayed with proper positioning of the niqud. Regards Yoram Gnat.

Release 0.105 of Culmus fonts - with Miriam Mono diacritics

Hello all, The 0.105 release is available now. It includes a reworked version of Miriam Mono family, which is now OpenType and has diacritics support developed by Yoram Gnat. In addition, an issue with "Hataf" diacritics in David and Miriam was resolved. Ancient Semitic Scripts - Release 0.06-1

Dear fellows. I am glad to announce the new 0.06-1 release of the "Ancient Semitic Scripts" fonts package. Following is a list of changes from the previous version: 1. ProtoCanaanite, Phoenician, all Paleo-Hebrew and Aramaic-Early-Br-Rkb fonts now have the glyphs assigned to both the Hebrew Unicode range (0590-05FF) and the Phoenician code range (10900-1091F) 2. Aramaic-VIIBCE and Aramaic-Imperial-Yeb fonts now have the glyphs assigned to both the Hebrew Unicode range (0590-05FF) and the Aramaic Imperial Unicode range (10840-1085F) 3. The Hebrew-Samaritan font now has the glyphs assigned to both the Hebrew Unicode range (0590-05FF) and the Samaritan code range (0800-083F) 4. Font "Makabi-YG" added. This is a "modernized" version of the "Hebrew Square Isaiah" font 5. Oblique, Bold and Bold-Oblique weights added to "Keter YG" font 6. The algorithms of vowel and cantillation marks positioning in the fonts "Keter Aram Tsova" and "Keter YG" were rewritten and should now correctly position the marks. 7.
