Hello all,
I'm glad to announce that the Culmus Project now provides initial support
for Hebrew romanization
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romanization_of_Hebrew>. The new version
0.111 of the SimpleCLM font contains special Latin characters required for
proper transliteration of Hebrew letters, and it's available in the Preview
section of the Developers' Area
<https://culmus.sourceforge.io/developers.html>. There is also an overview
of general romanization requirements in the Notes section
<https://culmus.sourceforge.io/notes.html#romanization>.
The font was kindly provided by Aharon Varady. I would like to thank Aharon
both for this contribution and for his overall effort to promote the use of
free Hebrew fonts on the internet.
Best wishes for the new civil year,
-- Maxim.
