I did a showing of it once. I contacted the producer, and he allowed it as long as I donated all of the proceeds to charity. (EFF and FSF) That being said, it is copyrighted, and permission must be granted to do a showing. Also, as great as the documentary is, it is a bit dated. More time has passed since the documentary was filmed than the amount of time that it covers.
