"Remind me" broken on wiki

Hi, I just went to the SFD wiki and used the "remind me of my password" thing which sent me a mail containing my user ID but an SHA encrypted version of my password. Surely it should send me my password in the clear? I actually remembered my password so was able to logon, but other users may not be so lucky. Cheers, Al.

I registered, and did got the confirmation e-mail... that means the system is working properly. Registrations are open for SFD 2007!

Hi all! Registrations are open for Software Freedom Day 2007! Welcome to the planning and preparation for Software Freedom Day 2007. We have more resources, documentation and goodies for you, and we look forward to sharing the biggest and best SFD ever with you all! == Registration == The SFD2007 team registration is now open! You'll need to register before the schwag deadline (31 July) to receive shirts, balloons and stickers to help your event look spectacular. Teams that register after the schwag deadline will still be included as official events, but will not receive any goodies. Each team (registered before the schwag deadline) will receive two SFD2007 shirts for free. We will have extra shirts for sale soon, however if your team has special needs or is in a developing nation, please send us a special extra tshirts request to info [at] sf-day.org and we will consider more shirts for your team on a case by case basis. There are limited numbers of shirts, balloons and stickers, and we will try to make sure teams are as well equipped as possible. Teams can find information from the Start Guide including artwork, marketing information, generic press releases, tips and tricks for running an event and much more - http://softwarefreedomday.org/StartGuide Many thanks to Robert Schumann who tirelessy worked on the registration page! == Website == Firstly, please note that in order to keep the website sane, we have migrated all 2006 team pages to an archive page. I'd like to apologise to anyone who's encountered problems with pages going missing on the wiki. I can assure you that no prior content has been deleted, and we are continuing this year to build our site using the MoinMoin wiki platform. In previous years we have had a tendency to start each year from scratch, often due to technical problems or complexity of our website platform; we're looking to build a more consistent track record in this respect in the future. We recently moved last year's team pages to the archive so that a clear distinction can be made between current and old team information - we are specifically trying to avoid the confusing situation where a page last edited in 2005 says "Hi! Come to our SFD event at Main Street, Springfield" and visitors to the site can't tell if the information is current(*) or not. So: feel free to copy(**) your page contents back to where they were - we'll not be moving these pages again soon! More details about registration will be posted to the SFD-announce list soon. Robert. (*) Yes, visitors could look at the "Last edited" date on the page, but this creates a poor impression with site visitors. (**) We think it would be better to copy the old contents over (if they're still relevant) rather than move the pages back, as that leaves the 2006 archive intact.
