Dear All, Is there any other programming languages in Open Source that i can teach my students apart from Python? Please may you send me materials on programming languages that can be used in schools for the students. Also i would be happy if programming software are sent to me or links where i can download them. So while some of them are questions for all the distros. some of them are unique to Ubuntu per se. Deepening the GNU/Linux community

Hi all, Apart from the usual things that one needs to speak about Free Software, I have also made some pointers as to the way I see things in my community http://flossexperiences.wordpress.com/2009/07/09/deepening-the-gnulinux-com… This is just an attempt to let some of the developers, testers, users and to be users to know what some of the problem areas and atleast have awareness about them. Some of them have answers, for some answers need to be found and so on and so forth. Feel free to add or rip apart whatever you think is right. Also perhaps some of these questions could be used if found fitting with technical audiences (as they love challenges :) ) . Taking SFD to the government - WAS: We have over 250 SFD teams!

Lessons of online collaboration, creating constructive communities, open and transparent decision making, the importance of individual empowerment to just get things done and of course the many opportunities that FOSS can directly bring.
