Some tips on registering your event for Software Freedom Day, 2024... If you don't already have an account on the digitalfreedoms.org site (not the same as the SFD site), register here: https://digitalfreedoms.org/log-in?view=registration Once registered and logged in, look at the Software Freedom Day menu near the top left of this page: https://digitalfreedoms.org/ The menu appears when you mouse over the first instance of the words Software Freedom Day. If you're holding your event at a new location, be sure to use the Add Location option. Click on Add Event in the menu to add the information to let people know about your event. If you have any questions, feel free to ask on this list. Thanks for your help in putting together a successful Software Freedom Day 2024.

Let's Gear Up for Software Freedom Day 2024! The time has come to start teaming up for the next edition of Software Freedom Day (SFD)! We’re aiming to make 2024 even bigger and surpass 100 events worldwide. Last year, we grew from around 30 to 50 events and we know we can do even better with your help! Promotion Packs We're gathering funds to create awesome promotion packs to make your events even more special! The number and content of these packs will depend on the funds we raise, so it’s first come, first served. Make sure to register your event soon to secure your pack! Perfect Venues Remember, SFD events can happen anywhere - in schools, universities, libraries, public spaces or even your local coffee shop. These are fantastic places to engage with the community and spread the message of software freedom. How You Can Help Interested in supporting us? Check out how to contribute.
