Dear Frederic I am Shazedur Rahim Joardar Ring from FOSS Bangladesh. Today, I had added one of the two of our events here in Bangladesh successfully and registered also. But when our PRS (Public Relation Secretary of FOSS Bangladesh) was registering the second event we found the 2013 event wiki pages are not editable. Today is the last day to register SFD 2013 events. So plz do the admin jobs as soon as possible done and let us know when we can register our events. 2013 page screw up

Hi! While doing some wiki SFD page "maintenance" such as adding captical letters, team pages and so on I inadvertently destroyed page 2013... which means all the current "Add country" in several languages have disappeared. Well we still have 3... Since I am rather handicapped on the language front can people speaking existing available languages listed below step in and provide me the translation here in the email for "Add Country": - Portuguese (PtPt) - Portuguese Brazilian (PtBr) - Russian Maybe Sri Lanka if there are other countries speaking the language... I finalize the dynamic SVG countdown first part, now it shows the days dynamically on the script. http://pastebin.mozilla.org/2658558 The point of having SVG on it, is so that we cut down time invested into this as opposed to duplicate it. Mantaining two versions I think does a duplication of efforts. SVG allow you to manipulate Server side scripting or client side scripting. So you can generate a vector graphic with content from a database like mysql, or datasource like CSV, XML or JSON object and reutilizing the localization of the website, so the PHP function can live in the same embeded SVG. Dear Alexandro, it's indeed a very good idea and great initiative. Actually we can run more than 1 countdown at the same time while users can pick the theme / countdown they like. Right now our banner named banner1, with the skill you have, would you please start a project to work on this ideal countdown and we can call it banner2? Please create a wiki page to start this great project, and make a how-to to show users (especially to non-technical users like myself) how to this countdown work :) I am also thinking to make another version of countdown named banner3 next year to actually not to specify the year, so once countdowns are translated we can use them again and again for the years to come. Hi I think Frederic still doesnt understand how SVG+JS works. Think of it as Flash+actionscript. In the end SVG is a file with script that the browser renders as graphics. Alternatively we could use Canvas, but I dont recomend it since there is very few Canvas authoring tools.
