Hi! This patch adds a new option to the page popup menu ("Open with external browser") that allows to open the current page in another browser (defaults to mozilla and can be configured using the "external_browser" option in your dillorc file). You'l find this patch usefull If you usually start browsing with dillo and when you arrive to a page that dillo can't render you have to copy & paste the current link to another browse (ie mozilla). Also adds another option in the link popup menu ("Download with external utility") that executes a command for dowloading the current link (defaults to "xterm -e wget -c" and can be configured using the "external_downloader" option). Patch for correcting links on about:splash

Greetings with wishes of health and peace. Attached is a patch for correcting links on about:splash from the old server, dillo.cipsga.org.br , to the new, dillo.auriga.wearlab.de . The patched source is 0.6.6 . The edit is so minor -just URL text- that I'm submitting it without testing, because I've got to work through a long list of errors and warnings when compiling. Actually the diff command must contain the original dir first, then your source. To diff the entire directory is the recommended if you have changed more than one/few files. Of course, if you have only changed one file, it's ok to do: diff -pru dillo.orig/this_file dillo.my.version/this_file Oh, and it is prefered if you diff against current CVS not old versions. You can't really check it into the CVS. The CVS is only public for reading, only Jorge and Sebastian have access for writing. If the patch is "small" (I'm guessing like 10-20KB, but maybe Jorge has a different opinion) I guess it's ok to send it directly to the list. Baby steps for patch submission?

Greetings with wishes of health and peace. I've been programming for a long time, but have never contributed to a project. My programming has been building mouse driver and graphics acceleration libraries using X86 assembly for DOS programs, serial communications (simple terminal emulator) using Mix PowerC atop DOS, file-manipulation utilities using Sun cc, and Perl/CGI with DBI. I've now made to small edits necessary to correct the links on the about:splash, and need to know the best way to create and submit a patch. I made the edits in a copy of the source for 0.6.6 that I obtained through Debian. Is the best diff to diff -pru <mySrcDir> <origSrcDir>, or just to diff the edited file with the original file? [PATCH] Limit size of Cache

Hello everyone! A long, long time ago I sent in a patch for limiting the size of the Cache in Dillo. I haven't experienced a single crash. So I think it is high time I rediffed my patch for current CVS. First, I have removed the about:cache-clean functionality. I have had private discussions with some users and we've concluded it was not a very good idea. The about:cache functionality is still there, though. I think it's nice. Oh, and I had to "undo" the changes with respect to num_bw and browser_window variables in browser.h and interface.c; they are now global again. This could be easily changed if wanted - just make a helper function in interface.c which returns a copy of browser_window. Jorge, please consider applying this patch. copy from page

When will dillo enable it's user to copy from the pages it renders ? I read somewhere on the dillo site that this has been fixed, but latest cvs build doesn't seem to be enable me to copy text. -- People tend to make rules for others and exceptions for themselves. Registered Linux user #298569
