[Dillo-dev]Anything new worth trying out?

Hi, I've been running a dillo I checked out of CVS on June 6. I was wondering if there was any reason to update. If you have any new features you'd like road-tested I'd be glad to give them a spin. Or should I wait for things to stabilise? Cheers, Jeremy Henty

Hi, it compiles and runs great on DragonFly-BSD. Hi there! I just uploaded the dillo-0.8.2-rc1 (release candidate 1) to our site: http://www.dillo.org/download/dillo-0.8.2-rc1.tar.bz2 It's basically what we've been testing in the CVS, so it should be stable. What needs platform testing is the compilation process. This tarball was packaged with the newest auto* tools, so please report back how it goes. If no glitches are found, it'll become our dillo-0.8.2. Cheers Jorge.-

This has always been a minor annoyance...if the long page you're browsing has been structured with a convienent set a headings, the navigation sub-menu solves the problem fairly well, but I would like to see this behavior changed. If the page author has not been so kind, or if the page consists of a single giant table, you then have to scroll madly in search of you place... Presumably the back (and forward) button is implelemted with a stack of URLs. Hi, actually I would like to have it changed. Then BACK would always send you back one click, whether within the same page or not. Often one doesn't really know whether one is still in the same page or not.
