Re: Debian package (bugs 216, 305)

by Rodrigo Arias

Hi Nikolas, Thanks a lot for your work packaging Dillo for Debian! I'm happy to see users of low end devices (Raspberry Pi and so on) will eventually be able to enjoy an updated Dillo directly from "apt install dillo". I have closed the issues you mention. Let us know if you have further issues from downstream and we will try to get it solved. Thanks!, Rodrigo. I was just testing things out in my build directory and hadn't run `make install` yet.

Hi, Thanks, I'll wait a bit in case you find more typos/wording issues so we can just merge all of them in one commit. Best, Rodrigo. Have you installed dillo in its prefix (make install)? This is often a symptom that you are running it directly from the build directory and is not able to find the plugins. Otherwise, please provide more details to reproduce this and the full execution log. Best, Rodrigo.

Error when opening local html file

by Nikolas Nyby

Hello, I couldn't find a bug log for this already, or maybe I am doing something wrong. On current git master, I add this to the address bar: file:///home/nik/Documents/margin-test.html The file fails to load. Also, when using the menu: File -> Open File... dialog, which inserts this into the address bar: file:/home/nik/Documents/margin-test.html and displays the error: ERROR: can't start dpid daemon (URL scheme = 'file')!
