Feature request

Hi I love dillo much and I missed a feature which is very nice if you have more Browserwindows: All new browsers like Mozilla/Konquerer/Pheonix have the feature Tabbed-Browsing, would be nice if dillo have this, too. Jens

Segfault using text selection?

Hi, I have experienced several segfaults with dillo using the new text selection feature. I include two instances from gdb below. This happens when I select text while some page is loading (typically when I get impatient while dl'ing a site). I hope this is informative enough. Let me know if I can test it more. Why not have compile time options to include or not include both the built-in http protocol support, and the option to use wget. That way, anybody using Dillo in an embedded application who just needs http support can use the built-in support, but anybody requiring additional functionality can use wget. John.

No, the event is (since recently, for selections) sent to the toplevel widget, although its position is outside of the allocation of the latter. (If your assumtion would be correct, a_Selection_button_press would never be called :-) The problem is that the DwIterator, from which a DwExtIterator is constructed, points to a widget (the DwEmbedGtk containing the button), which is the last content in the page. a_Dw_ext_iterator_new tries to move forwards (since it must never point to a DW_CONTENT_WIDGET), and, of course, fails. Obviously, the fix is to move backwards then. Sebastian

As SSL has a high priority on my list, it would be a matter of writing an external program that does https (given the URL), retrieves the resource, performs any other required tasks and reports it results somewhere. That is, I'd make all the necessary bindings/extensions in dillo's core to accomodate the plugin. AFAIU, the most basic communications required between dillo and the https dpi are: 1) -> Send the https URL to retrieve 2) <- Maybe make the user confirm the certificate acceptance 3 <- https resource Please inform me about any other required communications. As for developing the prototype, just as stated in the dpi docs. assume you have the answer from dillo and go on! That's all. Hope this helps Jorge.-
