Hi guys, The first release candidate got only one problem report (on headers), but I couldn't help adding a couple of tiny enhancements. So this is it: + * Set some initial socket-buffering for dpis (in dpid). + * Made the rendered area keep its focus after a form submition. + * Fixed some include files in src/IO/. The socket-buffering helps with 2.6.x kernels (probably a bug in the kernel: the "first" data transfer in the sockets usually is slow, from then and on, it goes as fast as with 2.4.x, but if you don't use the socket for a long time it gives you another slow start). The second fix is just a UI improvement. The third is a cleanup. Please test it from: http://www.dillo.org/download/dillo-0.8.2-rc2.tar.bz2 Cheers Jorge.-

[Dillo-dev]Anything new worth trying out?

Hi, I've been running a dillo I checked out of CVS on June 6. I was wondering if there was any reason to update. If you have any new features you'd like road-tested I'd be glad to give them a spin. Or should I wait for things to stabilise? Cheers, Jeremy Henty

Hi, it compiles and runs great on DragonFly-BSD. I just uploaded the dillo-0.8.2-rc1 (release candidate 1) to our site: http://www.dillo.org/download/dillo-0.8.2-rc1.tar.bz2 It's basically what we've been testing in the CVS, so it should be stable. What needs platform testing is the compilation process. This tarball was packaged with the newest auto* tools, so please report back how it goes. If no glitches are found, it'll become our dillo-0.8.2. Cheers Jorge.-
