I've never had to deal with that bit of FLTK, so I don't know offhand to what degree things still work if this stuff is changed.

The device is a BF537 with 8MB flash and 64 MB SDRAM with an additonal epson 13513 framebuffer device. I will make the change for USE_XIM on monday. what do you understand under multibyte chars. My problem is that the toolchain for blackfin doesn't support type wchar_t. And as it seems there is also no support for wcstombs and mbstowcs in stdlib.h. I don' know how to do a workaround. By the way, what I forgot to mention!! You have to change all fork() to vfork() cause there is no MMU on blackfin systems!!!
