Hi, I heard about what happened to dillo.org so tried to see if I could get it back. I contacted the registrar (Spaceship, I found out by whois), and they replied and I asked them to contact you to see what could be done and they said this: "Hello, Thank you for contacting us back! We are sorry for the inconvenience you have faced. Unfortunately, we won't be able to move the domain to your developer or make any changes to the domain if you are not its Registrant. If you act on behalf of the party interested in the domain name, then we suggest contacting the Registrant of the [1]dillo.org directly using the contact information specified in the public Whois: [2]https://www.spaceship.com/domains/whois/ You may contact the Registrant and discuss with them if they can move the domain to you or your developers.
