World-writable files give me the willies. Just changed dpid's umask to 0077. As Dillo is not designed to share its internal files among users, this seems to be the right setting. I'm playing around with GPE-feed dillo2_0.6.6-r0_arm.ipk AFAIK, the latest GPE is GTK2.x based. Dillo needs GTK1.x. Nevertheless, familiar seems to carry GTK1.x because it has a dillo-0.8.1 package. [Dillo-dev]configurable page increment

Hello. I'd like to make the page increment configurable. I liked the old half-page behavior, and would like to be able to use that instead of the current "96% of the viewport" method. However, I don't really know where to start, or how to hook into dillo's configuration system. Ideally, I'd like to set values for how much to scroll on each type of scroll event: PgUp/Dn, Space/BkSpace, arrows, and the mouse wheel. (96%, 50%, 1 line, and 2 lines, respectively) I've found the code which configures one of these events, thanks to a snippet early on this list ("0.96 * allocation->height"), but don't know where/how to handle the others. So, any hints? Or, alternately, does anyone with more of a clue feel like adding this? -- Scott

[Dillo-dev]does the mailing list still work

I haven't received mailing list for a long time. Does it still work? By the way, can anyone tell me that how the html is rendered? I know the html text can be parsed into some data structures and then these data structures are delivered to renderer. Another way is to render one object immediately after it is created. Which method does dillo apply? If it uses the first methond, what are the corresponding data structures that keep information of the html tags. If uses the second one, what event triggers the renderer? And how the objects are rendered? If anyone can send me some documents about those subjects, I will be very grateful. Thank you very much!

[Dillo-dev]what does branch mean

Hello everybody: Now I'm studying CCC model of dillo. I see many many modules have their chain functions, whose parameters are similar. When a_Chain_link_new(AInfo...) is called, A new chain is created and a new link is established between the new chain and old chain -- AInfo. Now what confuses me is that what the branch mean? There are only numeric branch,1, 2, 3,... I don't know what they imply. And when a chain function is called, such as a_Cache_ccc(Op, Branch, Dir, Info, Data1, Data2), where does Info come from and what's its meaning? Thank you!

These modes are flags that let the parser know how to treat the source when switching from one to another. _INIT almost not used. Flags the state before parsing. _BODY is for generic HTML. _VERBATIM is for text that should not be interpreted. _PRE is for handling the <PRE> element. _STASH groups words into a string, and when done processes the sentence as a whole. _STASH_AND_BODY is a bit of a hack to allow for constructing the page index menu from header elements. -- Cheers Jorge.-
