There is a known issue

with Mailman footers being shown as attachments by some email clients, e.g.
Microsoft Outlook.
We have introduced a fix for that issue which is available from the
Dedicated plan.

All the servers have been upgraded to the latest code in the last few days.
The main goal of the upgrade was to fix Django's critical vulnerability.
The most noticeable features in the new version you might want to check are:
- Show which Lists a user is an owner or moderator of in 'Manage User'
page.
- One can now add entries like @list@example.com to the
accept_these_nonmembers attribute of a list to accept nonmember posts from
members of another list.
- There is a new mailman admins command

to add/delete owners or moderators of a list.

variables in templates, i.e.
- $mailinglist_url - URL of the mailing list Info page
- $held_message_url - URL of the Held messages page
- $pending_subscriptions_url - URL of the Pending subscriptions page
- $pending_unsubscriptions_url - URL of the Pending unsubscriptions page
- $domain_url - URL of the Domain management page
We already included $held_message_url in the moderation notification of the
default English template, feel free to make use of other languages and
variables in your custom templates!

There were multiple improvements in the Mailman code and a few bugs that
have been fixed: mailing list owners can remove and reattach threads

Hyperkitty renders messages correctly
<https://gitlab.com/mailman/hyperkitty/-/issues/490>, and some domains with
an irregular DMARC record are not blocked

Hi dear users,
Recently we've added a new feature to our products that allows you to hide
an anonymous subscription form for your public lists.
The anonymous subscription form is available by default for every public
list and looks like this:

It allows users without a Postorius account to seamlessly subscribe to the
list. Unfortunately, it also attracts some spammy subscriptions.
We are now able to completely remove this form from the Postorius UI hence
making spammers' lives a bit harder. (However, they will be still capable
of creating a subscription request by sending an email directly to the
list-join(a)domain.tld address.)

Mailman code.
This is mostly the security upgrade to mitigate multiple critical CVEs in
Docker images.
New translations and minor bug fixes have been added by the Mailman
developers as usual.
