Hello, teams out there. I have two things to mention that bother me: 1. There are no source files of the logo, to have it translated (hm, yes, just the date...) in german. 2. What is the "official" font of this year? (Jura, Libel Suit, ...)? If this things are missing, I would gladly load them up. I have the svg's and TrueTypes/OpenFonts from last year. Greetings from Germany Edgar "Fast Edi" Hoffmann

Traditional logo: http://cgi.softwarefreedomday.org/wiki/sfd2007new/img/headerlogo.png is cool :)

Dear Edgar, It was actually uploaded on the old wiki and we didn't move them when switching over. JM who works on our artworks uploaded them today. - Is there any chance for more than one team to organize a SFD event in Offenburg? - Do you want your city to be listed or your team name on http://wiki.softwarefreedomday.org/CategoryTeam Now if you look at http://wiki.softwarefreedomday.org/2010/Europe/Germany/ you will find a list of cities Take Hamburg for example and then you get to this page which list all the teams in Hamburg: http://wiki.softwarefreedomday.org/2010/Europe/Germany/ This should have been the structure to follow to get you properly listed. Now based on the answers to the 2 questions above you can either move your page and recreate a city page for Offenburg based on the City template (not sure the exact file name though) or you can also simply add CategoryTeam at the bottom of your page and it will appear in the Team listing. Should you decide to change your team wiki page URL, please let me know so I can modify the map URL. Thank you. Fred On 07/22/2010 01:24 AM, Edgar Hoffmann wrote:

Hi Edgar, Why on earth do people ignore all templates and all guides and then wonder why they are not listed? I added some categories to your page, so it will work somehow. I added some categories to your page, so it will work somehow. Hello Thilo. What templates have I been ignoring? I used the TeamPage template offered when I added a new city and just added our content. No more or less. The StartGuide says nothing about creating a teampage. And in the "Help for Users" section I only find "HelpOnTemplates" and "HelpOnPageCreation" which do not mention any advises to add special categories to a teampage. Sorry if that bothered you, maybe I really overlooked something. Thanks for your assistance. It seems to be right now.

No worries, its just that you must have removed the categories, like many teams do. And I wish they werent. Because they then all want to know why they are not listed. ;-) The template was created so that this does not have to happen. But people love to remove all of the content and write what they want without worrying that the templates might make any sense. You have to understand that it is a bit frustrating if excactly the thing one has thought about a lot and had taken into account are ignored and so most of our work goes into undoing the deletion of the categories. The best would be if categories would not be part of the page, so people could not remove them. I might even have a solution for this, but not for 2010.
