Mint is just one disc someone offered to burn, we've held a couple of events before and the LiveCD's are always popular. The open disc is something we have also planned to give out as well, i personally think it's a great project, and sometimes it's easy to think as a Linux guy the free and open source software is Linux, and forget that there is a lot for a windows friends too
In addition to Linux Live CDs, an obvious handout is the opendisc and the openeducation disc http://theopendisc.com/ http://www.theopendisc.com/education/ These are programs for Windows, which are good for 1) informing about Open Source Free software 2) being easy for most passers by to accept! -- Arron M Finnon
