Hi! Well we do have a page about things one can organize for SFD on the wiki at http://wiki.softwarefreedomday.org/StartGuide#What_should_we_do.3F and then you have a resource page http://wiki.softwarefreedomday.org/Resources to provide further tips, files and stuff to showcase or help you to organize. Now Seeing you are from Boston I'd say drop by at the FSF and try to meet someone to discuss with them. Richard might not be at the office but the people there are usually very motivated and full of idea. It's probably a great place to start. There are also a few GNOME people in town (used to be where the GNOME Boston Summit is organized. Again GNOME people tend to be very motivated and full of ideas and experiences regarding running events. I can probably dig a few specific contacts if you need. And better, you could meet both communities ;-) Hope that helps. Don't hesitate to comment or ask for more! Happy SFD! Fred On 09/04/2018 07:49 PM, Don Saklad wrote:
Looking for more ideas about developing a Software Freedom event at Boston Public Library in association with the Boston Public Radio twice weekly broadcast on WGBH from the Boston Public Library.
Or at Cambridge Public Library on the other side of the Charles River.
