:) Well, I only speak English fluently (unfortunately), but I think Spanish-speakers SHOULD be able to speak Spanish on this list. I would hate to exclude anyone from Central or South America because they don't speak English. Recipients can usually tell by the subject line if the message is written in Spanish or English. I can read some Spanish and I'm always trying to learn more, so I usually read them. If you can't read Spanish or don't want to, just delete the emails. I'd rather hit Delete a few times to get rid of Spanish (or Mandarin or French or Arabic...) languages than prevent a whole continent of people from participating in this list :) My $0.02 ;) -Jim Lars D. Saludos a todos del norte de finlandia

Greetings everybody, from the north of Finland,
It's a great please to read so much activity in the Americas. It's really a fantastic start to SFD-2006.
I myself write Spanish very poorly (as demonstrated above), with great difficulty and slowly. However, I read it just fine. Many others on the list can't read it at all, not even a word. They could participate better if we write as much as possible in English. And at the same time we would be be reaching out to the Pacific, North America, Europe and Asia.
This is a world-wide list and a world-wide project.
It's not important we write English perfectly only that we write it. At the least we might write both in English and Spanish. Even just summary in English language would help so that all folks can stay a part of activities.
