According to the author, RevolutionOS is **NOT** a CC movie, you are welcome to purchase it, and screen it. Not sure if there is a digital form to pay for it without the DVD. Here is the interview with the RevOS guy stating this: http://tllts.org/audio/tllts_180-02-21-07.mp3 -- Alexandro Colorado Apache OpenOffice Contributor http://www.openoffice.org 882C 4389 3C27 E8DF 41B9 5C4C 1DB7 9D1C 7F4C 2614
I did a showing of it once. I contacted the producer, and he allowed it as long as I donated all of the proceeds to charity. (EFF and FSF) That being said, it is copyrighted, and permission must be granted to do a showing. Also, as great as the documentary is, it is a bit dated. More time has passed since the documentary was filmed than the amount of time that it covers. On Fri, Sep 20, 2013 at 9:01 PM, Alexandro Colorado <jza@oooes.org> wrote:

Art is nice, warm and cuddly. However I think there is enough material to be shown that focus on todays' threats and freedoms that we could review during the event. Here are some interesting 'viewing' material to remember: - Conference by Aaron Schwartz on SOPA (yes the boy that commit suicide because of prosecution by the US authorities for liberating public documents) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHF96KhsDPU - WikiRebels (Wikileaks) Documentary (not as new, but probably newer than Big Buck Bunny) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9xrO2Ch4Co - EFF's spokesperson John Perry Barlow Keynote http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srYYh1fyKqQ On 9/20/13, Ivan Shmakov <oneingray@gmail.com> wrote:
