[Planning-en] SFD '06 Team Registrations
The teams that registered before the 19 July deadline are listed on the SFD website at http://softwarefreedomday.org/registration We are still taking registrations for teams that would like to be part of the action, although sponsored treasures may not be possible. It would be great if you could find your latitude/longitude and add your team to the map http://softwarefreedomday.org/map/2006 So it's time to get into gear making plans for SFD! We'd love to hear from you on the planning mailing lists http://mail.sf-day.org/lists/listinfo/planning-en (English) http://mail.sf-day.org/lists/listinfo/planning-es (Spanish) or on the forum at http://forum.sf-day.org/ It would be great to see some streaming webcam coverage of your Software Freedom Day! Robert.
Hi all, I thought it would be good if we were to spread the word about SFD throughout the teams, and get people to blog about what they're doing, or intending doing... Get people to tag their posts sfd06 and we could do some kind of nifty feed. cheers Donna -- MEL8OURNE2008 linux.conf.au http://www.mel8ourne.org must.be.there donna - bid co-ordinator

Not much content, but: http://computerclub.cex.com.au/taxonomy/term/25/feed http://www.almatech.net.au/taxonomy/term/47/0/feed Also an email newsletter: http://computerclub.cex.com.au/taxonomy/term/24 I'm going to name my first born "Drupal". Heck no, why wait - I'll change my own name to Drupal. Then name _all_ my children Drupal. And other people's children. And my cats. And call my wife Drupal. Drupal, Drupal, Drupal... just the sound of it is magical! I love you, Drupal! God, I've got to get out more. Matthew. -- Alma Technology - The future is free and open http://www.almatech.net.au ... No, I've built a module or two, and a lot of themes, but nothing general-purpose enough to release publicly, and certainly nothing good enough to have a chance of making it into Drupal core. I've tried a number of content management systems, and went on to make the obligatory these-aren't-good-enough-so-I'll-make-my-own mistake before trying Drupal. Been saying "wow!" at regular intervals ever since. It's just gorgeously well-designed (after several complete rewrites from scratch, apparently); a real information management tool rather than a blog or bulletin board with delusions of grandeur. When the Semantic Web takes off, Drupal will be the system to beat. Matthew.
