Dear Robert, You have been told about it before. Let me quote this for you: 1. SFD Site front page, competition article title: "Submit your report before 31st Oct 2010!" 2. Competition rules page, just before the rules list: "The competition will be judged by the Software Freedom International board as usual. The deadline for submitting entries is 31st October 2010 at 1200UTC." 3. Announce email posted to SFD-Discuss and SFD-Announce, right after the submission link: "As some of the teams are still celebrating SFD until middle of the month, the deadline for the submissions is October 2010 31st at 12h00 UTC." Now that this is clarified I will also quote the 3 bullet from the General Rules, on the rules page section: "Teams that require more time to prepare their entries may be granted an extension at the discretion of the competition organisers. Applications for a deadline extension should be sent to info[at]softwarefreedomday[dot]org." We do understand that preparing the report is a huge task (been there, done that) and will definitely grant you another week by extending the competition deadline to October 7th 1200UTC. Is this something you can work with? Are other teams facing the same issue, and is 1 extra week for submitting the competition report ok with everyone? Thanks and don't hesitate to get back to us.
