sfd leaflet - license?
Hi. On the following SFD site there is a nice leaflet which I and my colleagues translated to polish some time ago. http://softwarefreedomday.org/Artwork Double-folded 'What is Open Source' leaflet: Color background .pdf source files or White background (suitible for b/w photocopying) .pdf source files. Uses mgopen modata font. I'd like to know one thing about this leaflet: who is the original author and what is the license of this leaflet? I need this information to reproduce my translation in large quantities. Regards. -- ## Przemysław Kulczycki <<>> Azrael Nightwalker ## # jabber: azrael[na]jabster.pl | tlen: azrael29a # ### www: http://reksio.ftj.agh.edu.pl/~azrael/ ###

Hi, I'm pretty sure that the work was done by Melissa Draper <melissa@meldraweb.com> and is under an open licence so you can use and modify to suite your intended use. The announcement back on 4 Aug 2007 reads: "Greetings, Over the past few days I've whipped up a pretty (well i think so ;)) little double-folded leaflet for SFD, as it was something I couldn't find already done. It explains briefly what Open Source is, and disambiguates the term 'free' (likely not necessary in languages other than english) some of the open source applications on TheOpenCD are, with the application logos in the descriptions. The files: (also added to the artwork wikipage) PDF of the flier - colour background: http://geekosophical.net/misc/sfd/sfdflier.pdf Source .sla and images for the above flier: http://geekosophical.net/misc/sfd/sfdflier.tar.gz PDF of the flier - white background (suitible for b/w photocopies): http://geekosophical.net/misc/sfd/sfdflier_bw.pdf Source .sla and images for the above flier: http://geekosophical.net/misc/sfd/sfdflier_bw.tar.gz I have also put up the poster I've done for the local event I am running. http://geekosophical.net/misc/sfd/sfdposter.svg Feedback welcome.
