Alexey, Thx for partitipation. I'm searching, why some clients are not getting it. I see right now rTorrent (libTorrent), Transmission, uTorrent and Azureus clients downloading from me. I'm searching on rtorrent IRC channel, what I can adjust on torrent file or my rtorrent client to satisfy clients, which didn't started downloading. The point is to share these ISOs via torrent protocol. So I don't have ISOs on ftp server. It will also make my slow connection unusable. It's downloading, albeit extremely slowly, my torrent client doesn't appear to support UDP trackers, but even if it did i'm not sure openbittorrent.org works for me, isn't there a decent FOSS only tracker we could use? You may even want to kill off the torrent and just grab a sourceforge project so that you can use their mirror system, i'd suggest using the old opencd one but i'm afraid that's not an option at the moment. I've been peering at the contents of the SFD2011OpenDisc ISO, you have two games that are nothing but clones of commercial products, civ and col, and two more, warsow and alien arena, that are only open source if you're talking exclusively about the engines, the game content is non-free, there are bound to be other issues but i thought i'd share these for now. When doing things in a rush it's best to avoid throwing as many new and untested apps in as you possibly can, the games were hardly vital, maybe you should see if Alexey Eromenko wants to produce a disc for next year, he seems interested in getting something in the way of a Windows FOSS distro off the ground. All, The page http://www.navratil.cz/SFD2011/ with torrent file has been updated with sizes in bytes and GBs + countdowns. I'm still doing research about using more torrents for same data (as per request to create separated torrent file per each ISO). My understanding is, that for our purpose, one torrent file for three DVDs is proper way (users can choose, which ISOs will be downloaded) The risk I see is, that when accessing same ISO files from more torrents can bring conflicts. Yes MAC OS FOSS disc is available to SFD team by filling out this form: http://www.appleusers.org/dotm/spotlight-on-foss-dvd/ and the torrent direct access is: http://tracker.appleusers.org/Spotlight%20on%20FOSS.torrent The reason for having a form, I quote "The main reason we have the form so we know which groups are distributing it and thus we can list them on our website... also we find out just how many groups where actually interested in the DVD and thus letting us know if the effort in producing the DVD was worth the effort (which based on feedback so far, it was and so we'll look at doing it again next year )" We should make a front page change today or tomorrow to announce it and also publish on sfd-discuss. Please download the latest version of Parabola from http://repo.parabolagnulinux.org/isos/testing/ The version on the DVD is flawed and requiers installing Grub post intstallation. Parabola has proved very light and up to date.
