Need Consult on Glug Wiki Page.
Hi Sorry to drag this sorrow affair on to the mailing list but I need a consult from other SFD volunteers regarding the glug wiki page http://softwarefreedomday.org/teams/glug What happened is I "tablelized" the information on the page to make it easier to read but it was reverted to the old layout and then after a minute or two the table was back but without some information I added http://softwarefreedomday.org/teams/glug?action=diff&rev2=94&rev1=92 This behaviour do feel destructive and if the person would please raise his concerns on the added information here it would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise I'm going to revert it back to my changes because I don't see anything wrong with it. But I do believe it will turn into a edit war and I don't have time for that. What do you guys think? Kind Regards,

Dude, 1. You are not a member of our Team 2. I created the page (and did not make it private ) please respect our event - Make your own page(s) for your own events? :) andre

Hi I think Ludoph added a Link to GLUG (http://glug.org.za) event that being held in Pretoria ... and thought that the http://softwarefreedomday.org/teams/glug might be a bit misleading :) Since he is a member of GLUG, I'm sure he just wanted there to be less confusion the words on the wiki said "Members of the Gauteng Linux Users Group" Ref : http://softwarefreedomday.org/teams/glug?action=recall&rev=1 I believe that we can work together in promoting our individual events. Your apology on behalf of Ludolph was not required but is accepted :) But we prefer it if people do not add links to outside websites, info and other events on our page - specially if they are not involved in our team. We have incoming links to our Software Freedom Day page, market it and want the 'link love' to go to Software Freedom Day sponsors and contributors - not to dicy/weird Linux User Groups called the name of a country/province. I have removed all references to other teams and events, hopefully the confusion is now resolved so that urges to edit our page will go away :) andre
