Hi all, Our Ubuntu CDs have arrived in our country but our team doesn't have it yet. The courier DHL is holding on to the package and wants to impose an import duty tax of 3500 Philippine pesos (~78 USD) on the 130 Ubuntu CDs. I've explained to their representative about other teams from around the wrold receiving the same package with no such import duties as those items are for educational/promotional as such it has no commercial value and will not be sold to anyone here. However, she insisted that since our team is based on a University, we should get a letter from the University to resolve this issue of these items being for educational and promotional purposes only. Another workaround, she mentioned is to cite similar shipments by DHL that didn't ask for import duty. So if you're one of those teams, could you please provide us here the tracking numbers for your Ubuntu CDs' package? Thanks in advance! I'll be asking other teams here in the Philippines if they also have the same problem and perhaps we can sort it out altogether. Longlive Software Freedom! ~JM

Hi all, Just one thing to add, can somebody tell me whether its 8.04 or 8.04.1 Just doing a lsb_release -r should give the required output (of course the CD cover would also have the details ;) ) -- Regards, Shirish Agarwal This email is licensed under http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/3.0/ 065C 6D79 A68C E7EA 52B3 8D70 950D 53FB 729A 8B17
