Hi! There will be SFD event until almost end of October. Has anyone some ideas how to easily show this on the front page (while we've past the "date") and make it easy for people to find those events? Fred

If we can manage a list of those in an wiki page, we can have a news item on the frontpage, basicly stating something like "don't miss the last few SFD 2011 events!", explaining that some are still going on or happening at a later day, maybe point two or three examples (the next ones?), and a link to the wiki page with the full list. Yes I was thinking along the lines of something like a time line (as they don't all happen at the same time). The hard part is to figure out which ones they are really. I am also hoping they all subscribe to sfd-discuss (which they don't) and will reply here with wiki page and event time. I've pinged 2 teams on Friday evening because the event page had nothing and people in their area were asking for info. The potential visitors told me later that those events would be held next week. I personally never received any response, acknowledgment or see any wiki edit since (tough life really ;-) ). Fred

We can always do a task force, contact *every* team that has any contact available, asking about the event (did it happen?), and listing in such a page those events that still didn't happen but will in a future day... -- Marcos Marado

Well we have emails for all the team leaders that have a marker on the map. What I was saying is that response time/occurrence is unpredictable. I am going to travel and be somewhat 'afk' until the upcoming Monday so that kind of takes me a bit out of the loop. Fred
