Hi Thilo! is right! But.. CentralAmerica a while ago that it was included in the wiki of SFD. Its population's +95% speaks Spanish. Now, thanks to the carried out diffusion work. Besides FLISOL (Festival Latinoamericano de Instalación de Software Libre) that is carried out in +250 cities, we are also celebrating SFD. Dear Peter, The debate has little meaning compared to SFD. All the other points in your email are out of the topic of SFD. Central America is not a continent and so this only choice would be between The Americas (see it's plural) and the existing division. Besides this has nothing to do with respect. Please remain from being to dramatic. We're following the most common and accepted definition, and bringing notion of disrespect is OUT OF LINE. Dear Peter and friends from Central America, As discussed we raised the issue on our board meeting yesterday and we all agreed that it's unfortunate we cannot give you the space you would like to have. We based our continent split on Wikipedia list and the widely accepted definition of continents without looking at what we had on the previous wiki for years. It turns out that for many reasons we could not easily upgrade the old wiki and we started from scratch (not looking back). Modifying the current structure would bring a lot of extra load on our admins who are already very busy. We believe we should all focus on getting up to speed for SFD 2010 and live with this little problem. We're all learning from this year new structure (like we have a separate www site and are planing for more - the back log is long). So what we can assure you is that next year we will be modifying the team page structure to take your comments into consideration. We don't have a clear plan yet, and maybe might not have Countries at all (we could use tags for example (even if team leader tends to delete them... ;-) ) ). Any change in URL structure is an issue and extra workload. I myself find surprising to see Indonesia in Oceania, and I noticed a few Indonesian team leaders as well but they didn't make an issue out of it. So no modification in the current classification. All our efforts and time is spent on preparing SFD 2010.
