Dear all, Another CFD thread on the SFD mailing list, though the purpose is to gather feedback and seek help. While we're getting a rather positive feedback from organization like Creative Commons, the OpenClipart and OpenFont Library and everybody else in general, the number of teams involved in organizing an event is still pretty low. My feeling is that people don't know about CFD yet, and therefore I'd be happy if computer science students (for example) subscribed to this list - we usually have quite a few involved in SFD - could inform their counterparts in the art section of their universities. Similarly I'd be very interested to get feedback on how you think we could boost participation. I know it's the first year and the concept is not clear for everyone. Still I'd be happy to make a few extra efforts if it can help to encourage people to participate. Thanks and hopefully I'll be reading a lot of good advice soon. :) Fred
