We're at 16 days and counting until Software Freedom Day, the 20th edition. We're up to 24 teams! Unfortunately, there are a couple of continents we haven't covered this year and I do know of people in those areas who would love to attend an event. If there's a virtual part to your Software Freedom Day celebration or you're hosting any hybrid events, please let me know. I'd like to pass the information on to people who can't attend a local SFD event. I'd need time and time zone, how to join and language of choice (human not programming). Would appreciate your help in finding events for those not fortunate enough to have one in their area. Also, would appreciate hearing if you or anyone you know is in North America and might want to get together either to attend or volunteer or help organize an event in that time zone. I'm pretty sure debconf is also celebrating software freedom! A big shout-out to the Debian community for creating the grandfather of a lot of distros, while being as vivid and lean as most of its offspring! Nextcloud also has its big event the 16th. So same goes there: kudos for creating the privacy respecting alternative to the big cloud suites. Wishing the both of you a great celebration!
